OBITUARY
Unfortunately we have to report the decease of Mr. Luis Martínez Ruiz, the man who made his dream of Sol Andalusí possible. The magnificent resort that we enjoy became a reality thanks to the tenacity, effort, and resources, along with those of many other actors, but mainly, of this man who came from Cantabria with a dream and who tried to put it into practice in our land, which he loved. Here he continued to live until the end of his days despite the circumstances. The boards of directors and the administrators of both communities, representing all the neighbors, as well as the workers, wish to send their condolences to his entire family; They have let us know that a mass will be celebrated for his soul in the church of San Sebastián in the town this coming Thursday, June the 15th at 20:30 p.m., an act to which we are all invited. Rest in peace.

Use the garbage wheelie bins correctly. Please recycle, it's law. And let's try to keep the rubbish bin area in the best hygienic conditions possible, there are days when it looks like a dunghill. Deposit the garbage INSIDE the container, and if there is no room, do it outside, to one side, as tidy as possible. We also take the opportunity to indicate that it is not allowed to leave belongings in the bins area, for this there is an area outside the enclosure, click here to see where it is. Please, let's all collaborate in keeping our urbanization beautiful as it is.
CityPaq
A CItyPaq device has been placed at the entrance gates to Sol, next to the security booth.
The CityPaq service is a parcel collection service managed by the Correos Post Office but it accepts shipments from all operators, you just have to select it. The service is not free, it is paid for by the Sol Andalusí Community of Owners, and therefore it should only be provided to residents of Sol Andalusí. To do this, the service is only accessible through a code, a code that, we insist, should only be provided to residents of Sol.
We cannot control what you do with said code, who you give it to, but we will control that no one outside the urbanization uses the CityPaq. We are not responsible for its misuse, understanding as such that someone outside the complex wants to pick up a parcel there; Under no circumstances will anyone who is not a resident be allowed entry to pick up anything from the CityPaq, the package will be returned to origin. We want to make this very clear so that there is no confusion or misunderstanding later, and no exceptions of any kind will be made.
For this we also need everyone's collaboration, please do not provide the code to anyone to avoid problems with Security, as they will not allow access to our complex. Those who need to use said code only have to go to the office and prove themselves as a resident, where it will be provided if that is the case.

SeguriTY AccesS
In order to improve security in the complex, the boards of the two communities, Phase 1 and Phase 2, have taken a few decisions to improve the security in the complex. Measures to be taken:
• Set a license plate reader (LPR) system to access our urbanization. It’s really simple, there will be a LPR placed at the entrance to the complex, if the plate number has been previously authorized and recorded in the system the barrier will open automatically.
• Every resident will register the numberplates of their own vehicle/s and where appropriate that of their tenant. WE WON’T REGISTER ANY NUMBERPLATE FROM VEHICLES OF NON RESIDENTS.
• We need you to register the numberplate of your car into the system, but also to inform Security (Tel: +686277712) every time someone comes to visit you (friends, relatives, orders, supplies, etc), otherwise they won’t be allowed in, regardless if they are frequent visitors or not.
• You will have to provide us with the following data: owner of the vehicle, usual driver, property of residence, contact telephone number, brand, model colour and plate number of the vehicle. This data will have to be sent via e-mail to comunidad.solandalusi@gmail.com to be put into the database.
The system will be operational as soon as possible, we will let you know beforehand. So any vehicle which is not registered in the database by that date will not be able to come into the complex and will have to park outside.
We need your full support and commitment to adopt this new system. We are aware of the inconvenience this might create initially, but we believe that you will appreciate (some of you are asking for it) the increase in the level of security in the complex, by monitoring the number of vehicles and people that are in the complex at any one time.

Swimming season
We have the firm intention to open the swimming pool on Saturday the 1st of May. Opening hours for the month of May is from 12:00 p.m. until 19:00 p.m. Opening of the swimming pool, timetables and rules of using will depend on any possible change in the rules or recommendations dictated by the Junta de Andalucía. We ask for your cooperation to do so. You can collect your pool cards in the office.
PHASE 1 AGM 2021
Furthermore, and also depending on any possible changes in the rules or the recommendations of the Association of Administrators, the president has decided to call to an AGM for next May, exact date still to be confirmed.

TAKEAWAY CHIRINGUITO
Mr. Jose Antonio Pérez, the person in charge of running the kiosk at the pool, wants to announce that due to the new rule of closing of restaurants and bars except for takeaways because of the covid alert, starting the past Wednesday the 27th and for 14 days, he is going to provide takeaway service to attend the big group of elderly residents that may find difficult to get some food under the current circumstances. swimmingseason
Taking into account the few people currently using the swimming pool and the expense generated to keep it opened, and attending the recommendations from the Health authorities and from the Association of Administrators, the Board of the Community has decided to close the Phase 1 swimming pool (Phase 2 pool is already closed) next Monday the 7th of September. This is all due of course to the Corona virus alert. The opening hours until then will be from 12:00 until 19:00 p.m. (in two shifts, morning shift from 12:00 until 15:15 p.m. and afternoon from 15:30 until 19:00 p.m., booking still necessary). Sunday the 6th will be that last day of the swimming season this year. We hope you all understand the reasons to take this decision.
